Madhya Pradesh “The Land of Surprises”

Madhya Pradesh I would call it the land of surprises. My maiden trip to the Heart of India was full of eye-catching moments. One of the finest holidays, exploring the vibrant cities and laid-back towns of Khajuraho and Orchha was just amazing. I would call it the land hidden jewel, with every region, endowed with ancient and historical treasure. But the highlight of my itinerary was a thrilling trip to the Bandhavgarh. The park which was once a hunting ground for the Royals of the Rewa, now has been converted into a National Park. As I have heard a lot in the past from my friends that if you want to encounter the majestic Royal Bengal tiger, you should visit Bandhavgarh. I was expecting the tour to be amazing and just what it proved to be.

We had booked a thrilling safari tour to the dense and evergreen Bandhavgarh. As we entered deep into the Jungle, thrill and suspense has engulfed us. Our guide has told us that the park has got its name from the Bandhavgarh Fort situated inside the Jungle. While our guide was telling about the history of the park suddenly a big and mesmerizing tiger jumped in front of our jeep. The park is also filled with a plethora of antelopes.  All thanks to my friend for suggesting me Madhya Pradesh holiday packages.

The state of Punjab is all about doing things lavishly, whether it is the famous Punjabi wedding or the quirky and unconventional Kila Raipur sports, renowned as the “Rural Olympics”. The whole unusual sports extravaganza held annually from 31st Jan till 2nd Feb at a small village, just 20 Kilometres from the small from Ludhiana. The event which started as a recreational congregation of farmers in the year 1993 has now developed into the full sporting event. The event is one of the major highlights of my Punjab holiday packages. The event is opened to all the villages from all over the India.

What makes the event even more special is the types of sports which is being played.
