Snuggle at the
centre of India, Madhya Pradesh has its own way of treating people who visit
there to experience its diverse facets. My Madhya
Pradesh holiday package to the courtly state begins with Bhopal. The
city is known for its several names some called it the “City of Nawabs” and the
other City of Lakes. The city is a living testimony of the secularism with Hind
and Muslims living in harmony. Lavished with an amalgamation of new and old
structures which are easily witnessed during the tour of the grand city.
Further, my tour trail takes me to the Gwalior, another city popular for its
rich cultural heritage. Located at 330 km from the national capital Delhi is
great for weekend holiday package.
After thoroughly
exploring the two elegant and historical cities, the next day we had our
breakfast and packed our bags to the next destination. It was the tiny and
secluded town of Khajuraho, the best on our holiday trip. The village famed for its UNESCO heritage listed site
of Khajuraho group of monuments. The last halt was the historical town of
Orchha. The town is popular for its Raja Maha, Orchha Fort, Chattris Cenotaphs,
Chaturbhuj Templ, Dinman Hardaul’s Palace and Orchha Wildlife Sanctuary. With
limited time we are not able to explore the other superb place of Madhya
Pradesh. Hope to come back for another exciting journey. But for now very
excited to unwind the beautiful peaceful and tranquil landscape of “Dev Bhumi”
with my Uttarakhand
holiday package.
