Kumbalangi – A Village Stuck in Timeline

A trip to Kerala is all about immersing yourself in the nature extravaganza. The “God’s Own Country”, is all about rejuvenating and relaxing amidst the lush greenery. As part of rural tourism that we all friends have organized, we all are supposed to visit a village Kumbalangi. A quaint and scenic hamlet located on the outskirt of Kochi. The village is famed for their fishing crab ponds, and backwaters. While on my way to the hamlet I was sure that the holiday was going to be awesome and at the same time knowledgeable.

The verdant vegetation engulfing the majority of the landscape of the village will invigorate you completely. On trolling the village, I saw that every household has an orchid in their garden. One native told me that village is famous for their Pokkali farming. A type of organic farming mostly practiced in the waterlogged areas. The whole village was engulfed into the greenery and even the homes were separated either by the tracts of greenery or backwaters. The village was beautiful and an introvert traveller would love the place. Divulge the serene and lament lifestyle of the village with Kerala holiday packages.
